Passionate about many different musical genres, Jessica can be found performing on a variety of stages – from intimate chamber settings and large concert halls, to arena pop shows and live film productions across Canada, the United States, and Europe. She regularly performs as a section violinist with the Québec Symphony Orchestra, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphonia, and has previously performed alongside the Toronto Symphony Orchestra during the 2019 21C Festival. She is an alumna of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the National Academy Orchestra, and the Aspen Music Festival and School. As a chamber musician, Jessica was awarded second prize in The Glenn Gould School 2019 Chamber Competition alongside the Formare Piano Quartet, founded in 2018. She has been featured as a Young Artist with the Rebelheart Collective, and is also a recipient of the Penderecki String Quartet Quartetfest prize. Jessica’s solo engagements include performances with the London Youth Symphony, Wilfrid Laurier University Symphony Orchestra, and Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra. Jessica is a graduate of the The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory in Toronto where she studied with Erika Raum and was a recipient of The Leslie and Elva May Rowe Scholarship. She also holds a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University where she studied with Jerzy Kaplanek. She has previously studied with Paul Kantor, Min-Jeong Koh of the award winning Cecilia Quartet, and Elissa Lee, violinist of the Juno award winning Ensemble Made in Canada. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
